One year has passed since they withstood the onslaught of Elsa and others and formed a contract with Beatrice during the battle with the Great Rabbit to liberate the "Sanctuary". Emilia’s camp is united for the upcoming ruler’s election, and Subaru Natsuki has been living a fulfilling life. But this peaceful time ends with a letter sent by the messenger. It was an invitation letter sent to Emilia by Anastasia, one of the candidates for the ruler’s election, inviting them to go to one of the five major cities in Lugunica: the Water City of Priestella. Subaru and his friends accept the invitation and head to Priestella, where various reunions await them. Some are accidents, some are inadvertent, and some are inevitable.
