"Chiu Man-Cheuk was born on April 10th, 1972, in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. He is the youngest of three boys. His father was a martial arts practitioner and his mother was a professional sprinter. Under the instruction of his father, he attended martial arts lessons at the age of eight. He was a member of the Harbin City Martial Arts Team. He is good at sword, gun, and boxing, and he can perform more than 300 sets of boxing techniques. In 1990, he entered the Martial Arts Department of Beijing Sports University to receive martial arts training. Afterward, he joined the acting industry and filmed a number of martial arts movies and TV dramas. In 1990, he was admitted to the Wushu Department of Beijing Sports University to receive martial arts training, and was the first in his family to go to university.
